I would like to add that Snap Shots is more than a 'thumbnail' service but a content distribution network that uses advanced semantic technologies, currently used by 2MM web publishers and bloggers.

In a little more than a year, we have developed 12 types of Snap Shots (Preview, RSS, Video, Photo, Audio, Product, Wiki, Movie, Map, Stock, Profile, WoW) that provide end users with high quality, relevant and easily accessible information in a way that organically blends into their favorite websites. By delivering this contextually-relevant content, the Snap Shots service provides users with a faster, more linear surfing session and it offers publishers a simple way to enhance the website experience.

Another semantic component of our application is called "Related Searches". Those are short phrases that are displayed at the bottom area of many of the Shots. Using our search technology, we perform, on an ongoing basis, linguistic analysis of all the web sites that are part of the Snap Shots network, and generate short, related phrases using that content.

עוד דבר שראוי לשים לב אליו זה הפילוח המדויק של הטקסט. אני בטוח שהמפרסמים לא משלמים על חשיפות אלא על קליקים בלבד, אבל פרסום מפולח לא ממוקד מספיק גורם לממשק הפרסום להיראות מגוחך וגם פוגם באמון הגולש בתוכן המוצע לו על ידי המערכת.
אני לא יודע אם יש טכניקות NLP מדויקות מספיק שיוכלו למנוע הופעת פרסומת ל-biozone air purifiers כאשר הסמן מצביע על air force, אבל זה בהחלט רצוי. אולי זה רק תוצר של מחסור במפרסמים רלבנטיים.
